We've been to Bluma Appel Theatre three times. The building is largely inaccessible to those with mobility issues. There are just a handful of seats that are available that have step free access. To book them, call the box office.
That's the bad news. The good news is that all the staff--box office, lobby, ushers--are great, really well trained on helping those with disabilities. Very friendly and made the experience enjoyable.
The venue is small (fewer than 900 seats) so all sightlines are pretty good. Views from accessible seats are good.
I'd love to rate the place 5 stars but the inaccessible design holds it back, but the staff help smooth that out. Pleasant venue. Many places to eat and drink nearby.

Theatre is pretty good. Went to watch a comedy show. The seating is okay a bit cramped, but overall a good experience. Staff were helpful.

Warm and cozy theatre in close proximity to union. The drinks and snacks are well priced for a theatre like this. The space between the rows is tight but the seats are comfortable. Overall well maintained

The sound was excellent, nice lighting, but the seats were very tight for a big ish person. My knees were hitting the row infront.

I really liked this theatre. It’s a quaint space, and different from the other big houses in the city. The theatre has wide seating and I doubt that there is one bad seat in the house. This theatre has a balcony and the bathrooms are to both the right and left of entrance 2, and 3. The coat check is right in-front of the door. We did not sit upstairs but there was a staircase leading up and fingers crossed they have a lift for accessibility. I think the staff could have been a little friendlier.

Beautiful theater. Friendly staff.
Upper level is Not accessible, stairs to get upstairs. Part of main floor and 2 boxes are accessible. Box 4&5 have stairs.
Theatre sells coffee / tea ($3), alcohol ($10) and snacks ($3-5).

Friendly staff. Had box seats for Mike Birbiglia show and highly recommend. Great view of the stage and just outside our box 2 seating was a small women's washroom and at 8 months pregnant it was great to have that! The theatre is conveniently located right downtown so Go train a non issue. We drove and it cost us $7 for parking on a Saturday night at the Green P parking located at 2 Church Street. Great restaurants nearby as well.
